Designed for Sporting dogs, the Astro 900 is the new generation of Garmin GPS/GLONASS tracking system, which tracks up to 20 dogs at a time and has a range of 5 miles. With a 2.5 second update rate, it is faster than its predecessor, making it quick and easy to pinpoint dogs when on a run. Hunt metrics and dog performance data allows for easy tracking of patterns and behaviors.
The Astro 900 features a 2.6-inch screen with color display. It is loaded with TOPO mapping for the US and Southern Canada, which makes it easy to operate. Hunt metrics and dog performance data allow for easy tracking of patterns and behaviors, allowing for easy and effective training. The Garmin T 9 collar, which is included allows for the transmission of a dog’s location every 2.5 seconds, making it easy for the Astro 900 to track a dog even while they are on the run.
Astro 900 also has wireless sharing capabilities, which supports transfer of data between compatible Garmin Devices. The Garmin DriveTrack 70 GPS navigator is one such device, which allows for the display of dog positions on a moving map.
