    FLIR Vue Pro R Thermal Imaging Camera is a compact infrared imaging camera that can be attached to Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) for taking thermographic and radiometric aerial imaging.The FLIR Vue Pro R helps drone operators and certified thermographers to gather accurate, non-contact temperature measurements from an aerial perspective. Every image the Vue Pro R saves contains accurate, calibrated temperature data embedded in every pixel, adding even more value to your operations than ever before. Vue Pro R adds fully radiometric data-gathering to sUAS applications like building and roof inspections, power grid inspections, infrastructure analysis, precision agriculture, and public safety.

    This data can be later analyzed using the FLIR Tools or other optional software like ResearchIR, Matlab etc. While in flight, you can control the camera via MAVLink (Micro Air Vehicle Link communicating protocol) flight controller and save video and images to an external micro-USB card. The collected data can also be extracted from the camera through a built-in mini-USB port.

    For convenient mounting to a drone, the housing offers several options such as a 1/4"-20 threaded socket, six M2 x 0.4 threaded holes (two on each side and on the bottom), and a detachable GoPro adapter with a snout mount. While mounted to your aircraft, the camera can be configured wirelessly via its built-in low-power Bluetooth module using your iOS or Android device. While on the air, the camera gives operators the ability to conduct search and rescue, agricultural surveying, and security missions at altitudes of up to 40,000 feet.

    MAVLink INTEGRATION & CAMERA CONTROL
    Vue Pro R’s Accessory Port connection gives you access to MAVLink commands camera controls over PWM commands, so you can select color palettes, start and stop recording, or trigger the camera’s e-zoom in-flight from your radio controller. 

    LIVE RECORDING
    View thermal and hi-def color imagers in flight, or see them both in picture-in-picture mode, all while recording video and stills on two microSD cards.

    EASY CONFIGURATION

    Vue Pro R has a built-in, low-power Bluetooth module, so you can easily configure your camera with our custom iOS or Android apps. Change color palettes, set your image optimization features, configure your PWM inputs, and start recording all without lugging a computer to the field.
