Ride safely with Garmin Varia RTL510. Varia is a special warning system for cyclists who ride on the road. The device uses radar technology to detect approaching vehicles from up to 153 yards. If a car approaches you from behind, Varia will warn you with a visual and audible alert. The bike radar can be mounted on most bicycles types, such as racing or a commuter bikes.

Know What's Behind You

Pair Garmin Varia with a compatible Garmin device and know when vehicles are approaching. (The Bundle already includes a compatible Radar Display Unit).If your Garmin device shows a green light it means that everything is clear. An amber light tells you that a vehicle is approaching and a red light warns you that a vehicle approaches at high speed.



The device is also a tail light that warns drivers early enough to slow down for you. The light provides a visibility of up to 1 mile in daylight and it is visible within a 220° range.
