Sonos Amp : Power Everything
Sonos Amp is not a speaker, it is a versatile digital amplifier that can power large or small speakers so you can enjoy superior audio in any room. Your favorite speakers play louder and sound better. You can connect a wide variety of devices : your turntable, your wired speakers, or even your floor-standing, in-wall, in-ceiling, outdoor, and bookshelf speakers. Connect Sonos Amp to your TV and speakers for an enhanced home theater experience!
What can you do with Amp?
Play music through your favorite speakers : Stream all the music you love by connecting your favorite bookshelf, floor-standing, in-wall, or in-ceiling speakers to Amp. Simply use the banana plug to connect the speakers. Connect a turntable, stereo, or portable music player and play the sound on any Sonos speaker. You will connect your device to Sonos Amp using the Line-in option : just plug the cable.
Enhance your TV sound : Connect Amp to your TV to create the ultimate home entertainment system. Either connect Amp to a pair of 3rd-party speakers to create two front audio channels or use Amp with third-party speakers to add surround sound if you already have a Sonos home theater speaker (Beam, Playbase, Playbar, or another Amp) connected to your TV. The TV will be connected with an HDMI cable (an adapter may be required if your TV does not have an HDMI ARC port).
