Faraday Future NAVI
Compact Embodied-AI Quadruped Robot
FX Navi is a compact embodied-AI quadruped robot designed for young creators, education, research, coding exploration, and hands-on robotics development. It provides an accessible platform for learners to build, personalize, program, and experiment with robotics projects.
Dynamic 12-DOF Movement
Navi features a 12-DOF motion structure powered by 12 joint motors, with dynamic gait balancing and adjustable motion parameters. It can reach speeds of up to 2 m/s and rotate at up to 360° per second, supporting agile movement during robotics experimentation.
Obstacle Clearance & Runtime
Designed primarily for indoor, flat-ground use, Navi can clear obstacles up to 34 cm. Its built-in lithium battery provides approximately two hours of continuous operation, while direct charging is supported with a US-spec plug.
Open Development Ecosystem
Navi provides open development interfaces and a range of tools for exploring robotics and AI. Depending on the development setup, users can access visual programming, SDK/API integration, Brain Blocks, Create Studio, EAI Soul, EAI Scribe, EAI Studio, and a Python SDK.
Motion, Perception & Hardware APIs
The platform provides low-level interfaces for motion control and perception, along with APIs for hardware expansion. OTA updates further support ongoing feature development and platform improvements.
AI & Smartphone-Connected Features
Navi supports app connectivity, remote control, and smartphone-assisted capabilities. These can include access to a camera, microphone, display, LLM, and VLM functions, expanding opportunities for interactive AI and robotics projects.
Creative & Personalized Learning
With its neutral chassis and soft bionic body wrap, Navi can be customized with creative skins and 3D-printed head modules. Users can also explore personality design and other hands-on projects while learning robotics, coding, and AI concepts.
Education & STEM Applications
FX Navi is designed for project-based STEM learning across classrooms and independent learning environments. Its development ecosystem can also support language and arts projects, robotics exploration, and AI-tutor-style interactive experiences.
