PicoSTEM Horizontal Wind Energy Standard Classroom

PicoSTEM Horizontal Wind Energy Standard Classroom is a comprehensive educational kit from PicoSTEM's alternate energy education module. Tailor-made to trigger young minds into experimenting with the powerful wind energy, our kit includes every part required to design a fully functional horizontal wind turbine with blade adapters. Students can design their own blades, may use either 1/4 in. dowels or 3D printed blades for optimal power generation.

Demonstrating the power output on an LED, a piezo buzzer or the standard multimeter, a DC motor generator is included to teach 3rd-grade-college curriculum about the nuances of the working of a wind turbine. 

A certified virtual teacher is present to mentor students to explore and experiment with designing blades and incorporating wind energy in real-time applications.
