Ekstrem is a standalone piece of furniture rather than just a chair. One of the country's first postmodern designs, it. Ekstrem is made of a steel frame with woolen knit upholstery and soft foam padding. Devold's Knit, a custom woolen upholstery fabric, comes in six hues. Being made of a single continuous thread gives it a crucial suppleness for conforming to the organic curve of the chair. The knitted material has a traditional quadratic pattern and is comfortable and breathable.
