Earlier on our Facebook page, we introduced JIBO, the world's first family robot. Some of his features include two hi-res cameras for facial recognition and capturing photos, listening and speaking technology to communicate with his human companions, and personal assistance on tasks like playing back voicemails or ordering takeout after coming home from work. We wish their Indiegogo campaign the best of luck. That being said, although JIBO seems to be a very promising robot that would improve our daily lives, we thought we would share a collection of GIFs that feature some of our favorite "robots" that may or may not be contributing any usefulness to modern society.
